Isaac Davis was born November 30, 1956 in Chicago, IL to the late Arthur Davis who proceeds him in death, and Ester Davis whom is still living and currently resides in Plainfield, IL.
Isaac (also known as “JB”) was the 5th oldest brother out of ten siblings. At an early age JB accepted GOD into his life which was introduced to him by way of Christianity and although he didn’t talk about the Bible his faith was strong and he knew the word.
JB was known for his fashionable style of dressing, and his many talents like dancing, singing, infectious humor, and most of all able to provide words of wisdom when others needed to hear them. JB was even in a boy singing group in High School and carried music everywhere he went literally. JB was a brick laborer by trade, and part time mechanic when needed. He also did things like construction, tuck-pointing, and roofing.
JB will be remembered for his smooth entry into a room and his charismatic way with the ladies. He had a smile that was gentle and a soul that was kind. JB was always there when you needed him. Whether it be to run an errand, to fix a car, or just to lend a helping hand, he was there. He will be especially remembered for the unique nicknames he gave us all, and the funny things he used to do. With him around there was never a dull moment and you could always be yourself.
JB will be truly missed, he departed from this life January 13, 2021 at 8:43pm. He leaves to cherish in his memory, his loving mother Ester Davis, his one and only child Latoya Davis; granddaughters: Ashanti and Amia; his 5 siblings: Michael Davis(Constance),Carolyn Higgins(Anthony), Timothy Davis, Joey Davis(Tammy), and Tommy Davis(Melody); and a host nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
