Christopher F. Hester born July 9, 1982, and was called home on January 22, 2021
Christopher F. Hester was born on July 9, 1982, to Rosa Hester in Oak Park, Illinois.
Chris attended Longfellow Elementary and Percy Julian Jr High School. He then traveled to St. Louis with his mother, little brother Travis and cousin Bernadette (Bernie), where he continued his education. Upon returning to Oak Park, Chris completed high school and received his diploma. Chris loved his family and made sure they knew it.
He traveled in and out of town during adulthood, visiting his aunts, uncles, and cousins. During his stay in Wisconsin, Chris met Shawnna Meinen, and his beautiful daughter Isarah Rosa Hester was conceived. He was also a loving father to Xochitl and Desire.
Chris spent the later years of his life with his aunt Linda and his cousins in Indianapolis, IN.
God called Chris home on January 22, 2021 at the age of 38.
He was most known for his Humbleness, Vanilla ice cream, basketball, pranks, his infectious laughs, his beautiful smile (with the deepest dimples), and, most importantly, his love for his daughters and the rest of his family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents Esther and Burnis Hester Sr. and his uncle Burnis Hester Jr.
He is survived by his mother (Rosa Hester), brother (Travis Hester), sister (Jazmine Potter) daughters (Isarah, Xochitl, and Desire), his nephew (Kartier), his aunts, uncles, and loving cousins.
He will be missed dearly.
