On May 13th, 1943 Cassandra Marie Chavis was born to the parents of Chester and Addie Ford. Cassandra was baptized Roman Catholic and attended mass faithfully throughout her life. Cassandra attended St. Dominic’s Elementary School, St. Elizabeth High School and Wells High School where she graduated. Cassandra attended Malcolm X College where she became Certified as a Medical Assistant and as Teacher Assistant. She has various jobs however there were 2 jobs that she loved the most. Working at Washington Manor for 6 years and working for the Chicago Public School District for Cameron Elementary School for 18 years.
So now Mom, we say as a unit that you can rest but that doesn't mean go up there and still be nosey, however keep a watchful eye over all of us and we will do the same down here.
She leaves to mourn her Mother Addie Ford, 2 sisters Chesterine Foster, and Addie(Celina) Chandler. Her 5 children Carol, Previn & Daughter in-law Joyce, Chester & Special Daughter in-law Tina, William & Daughter in-law Kimberly, and Phillip.
