Junior pursued the family business working in the Transportation industry. He drove Semi-Trucks for various national trucking companies before starting his own business. He became an Owner-Operator and spent the rest of his career doing what he loved best which was driving his own Semi. He continued to do this until he was physically no longer able to do so.

Junior took a peaceful sleep as God called him home early Sunday Morning on October 10th, 2021, while surrounded by loved ones. His Grandparents, James and Arkansas Stinson; Father, Bill H Morton, Brothers: William Henry Henderson, Tommie Henderson and Reuben Henderson: Sister, Richie Henderson, all proceeded him in death.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother: Willie Mae Morton, Son: Willie Washington, Grandson: Alex Marzette Washington, sisters: Bernice (Arthur) Morton-Stephens, Edith Morton, Marion Bridges, Barbara Andrews, Patricia (Calvin) Reed, Johnnie Jordan, Ruthie Jordan, Stephanie Jordan and Dorothy Thomas; Brothers, James (Cassandra) Henderson, Kenneth Jordan, Tony (Jacqueline) Morton, Michael Thomas and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
