Antoine Deandre Elmore was born on November 5th, 1976 in Chicago Illinois.

Antoine is the son of Mattie Elmore (who preceded him in heaven), Kenny Gray and grandson of Helen Louise Venson (who also preceded him in heaven). Antoine was a loving and amazing father who leaves behind his son Brandon Elmore. Antoine is the older brother of Andrew Elmore and the two were adopted and heavily supported by their aunt Myrtle L. Walker.

Antoine was a God fearing man who believed in the Lord and accepted our creator as his savior. Antoine was extremely intelligent at an early age, graduating with honors from both Tilton Elementary School and Orr High School ( class of 95). Antoine continued his education at Malcolm X college while pursuing his passion as a fashion expert. Antoine's fashion expertise was mostly shown while working in various stores in the west side community in which he resided.

Antoine was known in many communities as “Elmo”. Elmo was known for his unique extroverted  personality. Elmo loved to meet new people, loved family gathers, and most of all, loved keeping a smile on everyone's face. Elmo was considered the life of the party. Elmo was a very outspoken, humble, supportive, offering man who would give you the shirt off his back with no questions asked. Elmo’s core values were loyalty, respect, action, ambition, compassion, risk, centeredness, and wisdom. Elmo’s confidence was extremely high, never allowing the words of others to dictate who he really was...a King. Antoine was a man of God, father, brother, son, uncle, nephew, and a great friend. Antoine will be missed dearly and his personality and joyous smile will continue to live in our hearts forever. Long Live “King Elmo”!
